My first student teaching placement was in a 4^th grade class at Rockfield Elementary in Bowling Green, Kentucky.  Since I started at this placement in August, I was able to see how this group adjusted to this new setting. I found it fascinating to see how much these children grew and changed over just the seven weeks of my experience.  Also during that time, I preformed with distinction in planning and implementing creative lessons, set high expectations, and communicated and collaborated with teaching professionals and parents.  I was able to learn and put in place many effective classroom management techniques and methods of tailoring instruction programs to individual learning styles.
