name is Shanon Medley, and graduated from Western Kentucky
University with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education.
Teaching
has been a lifelong dream of mine and I feel that it is my responsibility as a teacher to create lifelong learners out of
my students. My goal as a teacher is to maximize the potential of each of my
students by treating every child as an individual. I believe that it is important
to take a valued interest in each child by learning about their needs, background, and ability.
I
have prepared this online portfolio to provide you with a review of my personal
and professional developments as a teacher. This portfolio presents who I am as a teacher, my beliefs about teaching, and
my accomplishments thus far.
